What You Will Lead
-
Hospital-wide development, review, and implementation of quality and patient safety policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines

Interpretation and operationalisation of quality frameworks within complex clinical environments

Leadership of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for sentinel events and adverse clinical outcomes
-
Design, analysis, and presentation of clinical quality, safety, and utilisation data to inform decision-making
-
Coordination of corrective and preventive action plans arising from audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews

Leadership of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives within the Medical Division
-
Active participation in JCI accreditation, including role as JCI Survey Coordinator
-
Implementation support for ISO standards, AMUA, and KAIZEN methodologies
-
Risk assessment, risk mitigation, and enterprise risk management collaboration
-
Mentorship and capability building for clinicians and departmental teams on quality improvement methodologies
-
Participation in benchmarking, innovation, and quality improvement research
What Sets You Apart

Medical or clinical degree (mandatory), with strong grounding in clinical care delivery
-
Postgraduate qualification in health, business, or management (distinct advantage)
-
Minimum 3 years' clinical experience within a hospital or healthcare institution

Strong command of clinical governance, patient safety, and quality systems

Demonstrated capability in data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring

Confidence working with senior clinicians and multidisciplinary teams

Proven ability to translate standards into practical, sustainable clinical improvements
