The role will cover recruitment, onboarding, employee records, employee support, compliance, and general HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment process by advertising vacancies, screening CVs, maintaining candidate records, coordinating interviews, and tracking candidates through the ATS.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, prepare employment documentation in collaboration with HQ, collect required paperwork, facilitate orientation, and support employee exit processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both physical and electronic, and ensure information is properly updated within the HRIS.
- Respond to employee queries relating to company policies, benefits, procedures, and general HR matters, escalating complex issues where necessary.
- Support compliance with Kenyan labour laws and statutory requirements, monitor HR deadlines, and prepare routine HR reports for management.
- Provide administrative support on employee relations matters and assist in implementing HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR function and contribute to initiatives that improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail.
