Responsibilities

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years' experience managing hotel operations in a hotel, resort, lodge, camp, or boutique hospitality property.
-
Proven experience managing properties with between 30 and 100 rooms is highly preferred.

Demonstrated success in leading multi-department hospitality teams.
-
Strong understanding of hospitality operations, guest service, housekeeping, food and beverage management, and maintenance functions.
-
Experience implementing operational controls, reporting systems, and accountability frameworks.
-
Knowledge of hospitality management systems and operational reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality inspections across farms, production units, kitchens, outlets, and operational sites.

Monitor food preparation, processing, packaging, storage, and dispatch activities.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and SOPs.

Oversee quality control of products, raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
-
Conduct routine outlet inspections to assess hygiene, customer service, branding, and operational standards.
-
Ensure proper storage temperatures, stock rotation (FIFO), and contamination prevention practices.
-
Monitor expiry dates, waste management procedures, and pest control systems.
-
Train staff on quality standards, food safety procedures, hygiene, and operational compliance.

Conduct quality audits and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly compliance reports.

Investigate customer complaints relating to food quality and implement corrective actions.

Recommend process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency and product consistency.

Escalate serious quality risks and non-compliance issues to management promptly.
Skills & Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Public Health, Food Production, Hospitality, or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Control, Food Safety, or Operations Management.

Experience within poultry production, FMCG, food manufacturing, restaurant operations, or hospitality industry is highly preferred.

Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, quality systems, and compliance requirements is an added advantage.

Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance reporting preferred.
