Essential Requirements**
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant financial work experience with a development or humanitarian organisation.
Hands on experience working with accounting system.

Strong computer skills, including in use of accounting software and MS office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in financial management in a complex organization.
Grant management experience with local partner organizations.
Experience in interpreting financial information and preparing and presenting financial reports to non-finance professionals in an accurate and timely manner.
Cultural awareness and the ability to work collaboratively in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Experience in training/capacity building of staff in a multi-cultural environment
Skills:
Strong leadership skills including supervise and supervise and motivate qualified professional staff with strong personal value systems.
Demonstrated ability to meet corporate governance and accountability requirements of host governments, the organisation, and donors.
Highly organised, with excellent planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
Proven organisation and planning skills.
Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel and internet/email and accounting software -Agresso
In depth knowledge of managing grants and contractual requirements of institutional donors.
Ability to work well with others under strict deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organisational skills language.
Ability to work independently, take initiative and set priorities.
Employ problem-solving skills and analysis, and report problems to the line manager with possible options and solutions.
