KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Implementing the Business Development strategy and plans for the assigned portfolio and targets while ensuring adherence to policies and processes for delivery of targets.
-
Managing risks to achieve a quality portfolio in line with set targets through client training, loan appraisal, portfolio management, loan repayment and follow-up.
-
Ensuring that all deposits have been apportioned as per customers’ payment within the stipulated time.
-
Carrying out a market analysis for the assigned area to identify potential customers.
-
Creating awareness through marketing activities including promotion & outreach programs to generate leads and conversions.
-
Carrying out customer screening, recruitment, training and evaluation in the targeted markets.

Carrying out loan appraisal, assessment and loan processing in line with the credit policy.
-
Ensuring service delivery through regular group/customer visits, turn around, customer feedback, loan progress and repayment plans for sustained relationship and customer satisfaction.

Preparing daily group status reports and sharing with the branch team for branch health and sustainability.

Identifying & recommending best practices for innovation to ensure new & improved processes, products and services.

**Job Summary
MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION**
- Following up defaulted, delinquent and written off loans in the institution to minimize credit risk loses in line with policy guidelines to achieve the company objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementing company procedures in line with policy guidelines to achieve departmental strategy goals.

Scheduling a recovery timetable based on list of bad loans provided.
-
Engaging and following up clients with bad debts to resolve arrears and recover the outstanding loan amounts in line with the Company’s delinquency escalation and debt recovery guidelines.

Carry out post recovery follow ups with the branch teams to ensure that the promise to pay agreements are honored by the clients.

Writing and submitting performance reports with recommendations for further management decisions.

Reporting on customer insight to contribute towards risk management while taking opportunity for creating new leads as a value addition process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carrying out administration, managing and optimizing branch resources to achieve set goals in line with the business strategy

Designing and implementing business development strategy for the branch to achieve business growth, profitability and quality in line with the business strategy

Cascading and leading in implementation of business strategy in the growth and delivery of branch targets
-
Coordinating, analyzing and monitoring marketing and outreach activities in order to ensure Portfolio growth in line with the institutional growth objectives

Planning, coordinating and ensuring customer screening, recruitment, training and evaluation in the branch
-
Coordinating, ensuring and monitoring the loan appraisal/assessment, loan processing and loan approval in line with the credit policy
-
Implementing the company laid down credit policies at the branch level so as to ensure the branch Portfolio Quality is below the set target at all times

Ensuring and coordinating service delivery through customer trainings, forums, random customer visits, turn around, customer feedback, loan progress and repayment plans for sustained relationship and customer satisfaction

Preparing periodic reports for management information and decision making including follow ups and taking appropriate actions for sustainability and continuous improvement

Preparing, managing & monitoring and reporting of the branch budgetary allocations

Responsible for talent management in the branch including coaching, mentoring, developing, motivating, training and evaluating staff to achieve highest levels of performance

Managing the organization’s communication to the branch.
