**Qualifications and skills    **

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited University

• A higher diploma in Kenya Registered Perioperative Nursing

• Minimum six (6) years’ experience, at least 2 years in teaching/lecturing or two (2) as an educational institute administrator with exposure to adult learning

• Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)

• Must be conversant with national teaching standards in Nursing

• Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology

• Registration with TVETA/CDACC

• Valid practicing license

• A minimum of two (2) years Health Sciences teaching/training experience within a relevant educational/clinical setting; OR a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

• Must be able to provide instruction at various levels within the program areas

• Basic knowledge of ; Windows or Linux Operating Systems Networking ( LAN /WAN, IP Addressing, routers and switches) Microsoft Office 365/ Google Workspace Hardware troubleshooting and repair.

• Understanding of software development and cybersecurity fundamentals is an added advantage.
