Operations Associate at Ando

The Role

• As an Operations Associate, you will be at the center of our kitchen operations, coordinating between chefs, riders, customer support teams, and technology platforms to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage incoming orders across delivery platforms and internal systems

• Coordinate order preparation, packaging, and dispatch to ensure timely delivery

• Work closely with kitchen teams to prioritize orders and resolve operational bottlenecks

• Coordinate with riders to ensure efficient pickups and smooth delivery operations

• Verify order accuracy, presentation, and packaging standards before dispatch

• Escalate and resolve customer, rider, or operational issues in real time

• Track key operational metrics such as preparation times, dispatch times, and order accuracy

• Support inventory checks for packaging materials and operational supplies

• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational compliance

• Assist with daily reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field

• 1+ years of experience in operations, hospitality, logistics, retail, restaurants, or customer service is an added advantage

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment

• High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership

• Basic proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and digital systems
