MPESA Attendants at Gap Recruitment Services Limited
Key Responsibilities:
M-Pesa Transactions & Cash Handling
-
Perform M-Pesa transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, and airtime purchases
-
Ensure accurate recording of all transactions and balances
-
Maintain sufficient float and cash levels at all times
-
Balance cash and M-Pesa float daily and report any discrepancies immediately
Customer Service
-
Serve customers professionally, courteously, and efficiently
-
Respond to customer inquiries regarding M-Pesa services and transactions
-
Resolve basic customer complaints or escalate issues where necessary
-
Build and maintain positive customer relationships
Compliance & Security
-
Adhere strictly to Safaricom M-Pesa operating procedures and compliance guidelines
-
Ensure proper KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures are followed
-
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and transaction data
-
Observe security procedures to prevent fraud, loss, or theft
Reporting & Record Keeping
-
Maintain accurate transaction records and daily reconciliation reports
-
Prepare end-of-day summaries for review by the supervisor
-
Ensure proper filing of transaction-related documentation
Required Qualifications and Experience
-
KCSE minimum grade C minus.
-
Prior experience as an M-Pesa Attendant or in a similar cash-handling role is an added advantage
-
Basic computer literacy
-
Strong numerical and record-keeping skills
-
Ability to work long hours, weekends, or shifts as required
