Responsibilities: Financial planning and analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts. Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Perform financial analysis, including budget vs. actual variance analysis. Generate reports for management, such as branch profitability and expense variance reports. Develop and present financial information for board meetings. Financial management and control: Oversee cash flow management and prepare daily cash position reports. Manage working capital and debt collection. Ensure accuracy of financial recording and oversee payment and journal vouchers. Manage fixed assets and ensure all records are up-to-date. Implement and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial risks and fraud. Compliance and reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Prepare tax books and ensure timely submission of returns. Ensure timely completion of financial statements and audit compliance. Strategic support: Advise management on financial matters to aid decision-making. Identify and address issues to ensure the company's financial health. Help improve efficiencies and reduce costs across the business. Assist in developing financial strategies and risk minimization plans.
