Job Purpose:
Job Description
Lead end-to-end delivery of outsourced Accounting, Payroll, and Fund Management services
Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
Review financial reports, payroll outputs, tax and statutory filings, and fund reports for accuracy and compliance
Provide clients with financial insights, advisory support, and business guidance
Drive business development through client expansion, referrals, and new opportunities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
Ensure efficient processes, system utilization, and continuous improvement
Oversee compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA(K), ACCA or equivalent qualification (mandatory)
6–8 years’ relevant experience in accounting, payroll, or outsourced services
At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Proven experience managing multiple clients and service delivery
Strong knowledge of accounting systems, payroll platforms and tax/ statutory platforms

Role Overview
Job Description
Prepare and review tax returns including Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, and Turnover Tax.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns through iTax.
Monitor tax compliance calendars and statutory deadlines for assigned clients.
Support tax advisory and planning assignments, including transaction and restructuring advice.
Research and interpret Kenyan tax laws and regulatory changes and advise clients accordingly.
Represent and support clients during KRA audits, assessments, objections, and appeals.
Maintain high standards of documentation, ethics, and risk management.
Serve as a key client contact on tax matters and identify opportunities for additional services.
Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and business development initiatives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a related field.
KESRA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
Over 4 years’ experience in tax within a professional services firm (Tax, Law, Accounting or Audit.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws, regulations, and the iTax system.
Excellent analytical, communication, and client-management skills.
