Nairobi Adventist Hospital (NAH) is a Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church-established and owned Hospital. It is a tertiary (level 4) hospital located in Nyari west area in Westlands sub-county, Nairobi County, Kenya. The hospital is hiring for two positions: 1) Community Oral Health Officer: The staff will help in the running of the dental clinic reviewing all the dental cases that come to the clinic and providing the necessary therapy or make referrals/consultations appropriately. Duties include examining patients’ teeth and mouth, assessing dental condition, analyzing x-rays, undertaking general treatment, cleaning teeth, filling cavities, treating gum disease, providing instruction on dental care, making impressions, documenting patient history, supervising staff, and managing supplies. 2) Optometrist: Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments, diagnosing visual problems and eye conditions, prescribing and dispensing corrective lenses, detecting and managing ocular diseases, providing patient education, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
