Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Lead the accreditation process with the Nursing Council of Kenya and Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority. Prepare and submit all required documentation for regulatory approval. Coordinate inspections and ensure the institution meets accreditation requirements. Institution Setup: Oversee the setup of classrooms, skills laboratory, and library according to NCK standards. Ensure training facilities and equipment meet regulatory requirements. Curriculum & Partnerships: Prepare and submit the nursing training curriculum for approval. Establish partnerships with hospitals and healthcare institutions for student clinical placements. Faculty Recruitment: Assist in recruiting qualified nursing tutors and clinical instructors. Principal Role: Provide overall leadership and management of the nursing college. Oversee academic programs, student admissions, examinations, and graduation processes. Ensure continued compliance with education and healthcare training regulations. Manage faculty and support staff to ensure smooth institutional operations. Required Qualifications and Experience: Education: Master of Science in Nursing. Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya. Diploma in Medical Education or Technical Education. Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in nursing education. At least 2 years in a senior academic leadership role (e.g., Head of Department or Principal). Experience with NCK accreditation processes is highly desirable.
