The Event PR & Marketing Manager leads all strategic, creative, and operational marketing and public relations efforts for the Kenya Homes Expo. The role ensures strong visibility, high attendance, impactful branding, coordinated exhibitor promotions, and seamless public communication across all platforms. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include PR & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGEMENT (Develop and implement annual PR strategy, Liaise with media houses, Prepare press releases, media briefs, Coordinate interviews, media tours, Manage crisis communication), MARKETING STRATEGY & EXECUTION (Develop marketing plans for each Expo, Oversee social media and content creation, Lead exhibitor promotional campaigns), EVENT BRANDING & VISUAL MANAGEMENT (Oversee branding, signage, billboards, Supervise photographers, designers), MEDIA & STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS (Build long‑term partnerships with media and industry bodies), DIGITAL MARKETING & DATA ANALYTICS (Manage SEO, SEM, Google Ads, Analyse campaign results), EVENT SUPPORT & OPERATIONS (Coordinate branding, PR exposure, exhibitor communication), POST‑EVENT MARKETING (Prepare post‑event reports, Lead nurturing and community engagement). EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Journalism, Communications, or Business. Added advantage: CIM, PRSK, Google Digital Marketing, Meta Blueprint. TRAINING: Events management, Social media management, Crisis communication, Analytics tools. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Core Skills: Excellent communication, storytelling, Strong PR & media relations. Technical Skills: Adobe Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager. Behavioural Skills: Creativity, attention to detail, Ability to work under pressure. EXPERIENCE: 4–6 years in marketing, PR, events, or communications, Experience running large events/trade fairs, Experience working with media & creative agencies. SPECIAL EXPERTISE: Real estate marketing knowledge (added advantage), Strong networking with media and sponsors, Experience running high‑impact campaigns.
