inate all HGV drivers’ activity in the country in order to ensure cost effective and quality service is rendered to the client (internal & external) in line with DHL Supply chain strategy. Key Responsibilities Operational Management To ensure both internal and external customers are treated with respect by drivers and always receive the highest possible level of service. Ensure availability of competent drivers to always meet customer requirements. Lead and manage a team of drivers. Appropriately handle customer grievances or queries related to HGV drivers. To act as the principal operational liaison between DHL supply chain management and the team. Build trusted relationship with control tower, workshop and operation colleagues to ensure to ensure efficient driver duties execution. Appraise management on general driver activities, challenges and outcomes on a day-to-day basis. Work closely with driver trainer. Observe and enforce all DHL supply chain statutory and industry best practices obligations tied to driver management. Ensure all delivery paperwork, briefing/debriefing reports, preposition check list, weekly time sheets, and any other required paper is checked, appropriately field or forwarded to relevant personnel in a timely and organized manner.
