About the role:
Tele collection Agent will work closely with the various stakeholders including; The risk management, sales team and Regional collections managers to serve existing customers who have stopped/delayed making daily/monthly instalments for the units they have purchased on PAYG basis by providing proper, efficient and timely service as per endorsed SLA, and contribute to realization of company’s goals by reducing number of disabled customers and enhance company’s portfolio quality.
What you would be expected to do:
Contact customers to remind them of their outstanding payments, using the available scripts and call guides provided by Sun King.
To ensure proper knowledge is provided with a high degree of efficiency to delinquent customers so that they may continue with payments by re-educating them on the key terms of the sale agreement.
Negotiate payment arrangements with customers, taking into account their financial situation and the company's policies and procedures.
Set up repayment plans and new terms of sale. Record a new covenant to repay debt
Verification of clients' KYC details & update account information in the company's collections system, including notes on the customer's payment history and any payment arrangements made.
Provide excellent customer service to customers, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and humane manner.
Ensure adherence to the company policies and procedures related to collections, including regulations related to consumer protection practices.
Meet or exceed daily and weekly targets for calls made, collections made, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by the Sun King.
Record & escalate any abnormal issues reported by customers during the disabled call down, such as faulty or stolen, or repossessed products, suspected fraud cases, etc
Utilize computer systems to handle skip tracing
You would be a strong candidate if you:
Possess a diploma/degree in a business-related field(E.g. Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline).
Are fluent in English and Swahili speaking.
Have proven experience as a Collection representative or relevant role.
Are knowledgeable about MS Office Suite.
Possess excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills.
Are a team player, Fast learner, and Vibrates positivity.
Have patience, tenacity, and persuasiveness.
Demonstrate excellent time management and Shift flexibility.
Have additional training/certificate in Credit Management. Debt collection& Recovery, Negotiation & conflict resolution, or customer relationship management(CRM).

About the role:
The role holder is in charge for producing high-quality video content that assists brand communication, marketing campaigns, and internal initiatives. The role involves transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories that align with the organization’s brand identity, messaging, and strategic goals.
What you would be expected to do:
Video Editing & Post-Production
Edit raw video footage into polished final outputs for campaigns, digital platforms, and internal communications
Assemble sequences with proper pacing, transitions, and storytelling flow
Ensure all video content meets brand and quality standards
Motion Graphics & Visual Effects
Incorporate basic motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and animations
Apply color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency
Enhance footage with appropriate visual effects where necessary
Audio Editing & Sound Design
Edit and mix audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects
Ensure clarity, balance, and broadcast / platform-ready sound quality
Content Adaptation & Optimization
Format and adapt videos for various platforms (e.g., social media, web, TV, internal presentations)
Deliver multiple versions of content (cutdowns, teasers, localized versions)
Ensure correct aspect ratios, resolutions, and file formats

You might be a strong candidate if you:
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field, with equivalent practical experience also considered.
Possess 2–5 years of professional video editing experience in a corporate, agency, or media environment, with a strong portfolio of diverse projects.
Demonstrate proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is required.
Possess working knowledge of motion graphics tools such as Adobe After Effects and familiarity with color grading tools is an added advantage.
Demonstrate comprehension of video formats, codecs, export settings, and visual storytelling techniques is essential.
Demonstrate attention to detail, creative problem-solving, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines are required.

About the role:
The role holder will own all learning and capability development across the Zone to ensure that all the Area Business Managers, Field Sales Agents, and Technicians can pitch correctly, demonstrate Sun King product Functionality, educate, and assist our Solar Home Systems and Inverter customers. You convert product strategy into frontline revenue by building a high-performance sales team through training, coaching, and continuous certification.
What you would be expected to do:
Zonal Training Strategy & Execution
Own the zone's annual training plan, aligned to zonal sales targets, product launches, seasonality, and country-level training priorities.
Set zone-wide standards for onboarding, refresher training, demo quality, pitch, load calculation, and objection handling.
Deploy blended learning across the zone: classroom, field coaching, WhatsApp microlearning, and LMS content.
Ensure consistent execution of train-the-trainer cycles across all Regional Mentors in the zone.
Sales Performance Enablement
Partner with Zonal Business Managers (ZBMs), Regional Business Managers (RBMs), and Area Business Managers (ABMs) to diagnose skill gaps that are constraining revenue.
Design targeted interventions for underperforming states/teams on prospect conversion and sale closure.
Steer "License to Sell" certification for the Area Business Managers during promotional engagements.
Run quarterly Zonal Sales Clinics on high-value topics: market intelligence and commercial inverter sales.
Content & Curriculum Management
Translate Country and HQ training assets into zone-relevant content: customer income levels, grid reliability, local objections, industry landscape.
Create zone-specific job aids: demo scripts, load calc sheets, "Top 10 Objections in" with answers.
Feed field insights back to Country and HQ Product and Marketing teams: customer confusion points, market shifts, product feedback.
Localize training content to zone languages, customer segments, and industry landscape.
Learning Evaluation & Reporting
Own zonal training KPIs: zonal Collection Score contribution from trained cohorts, zonal 30- day activation rate, weighted-unit productivity uplift, Time-to-First-Sale, Demo Pass Rate, and % Certified CFSES.
Interpret and act on zone-level reports covering Sales Productivity, Repayment Performance, Customer Retention, and Agent Attrition Trends.
Submit a monthly zonal training dashboard to the Country Training Manager.
Correlate training cohorts to business outcomes: sales uplift, Collection Score improvement, lower returns, and higher customer NPS.
Conduct quarterly Training Needs evaluation using sales data, ABM feedback, and customer complaints.
Team Development
Recruit, onboard, and performance-manage Regional Mentors (Trainers) in your zone.
Run monthly train-the-trainer sessions to upskill your team on facilitation, product, and coaching.
Maintain high engagement and calibration across all trainers.
You would be a strong candidate if you:
Possess 5+ years in sales training, L&D, or sales management, with 2+ years guiding trainers or field teams, in solar, electronics, telecoms, FMCG, or any agent-led distribution business.
Have proven record of building training programmes that moved sales metrics, not just attendance.
Demonstrate strong technical comprehension of Solar Home Systems and inverter systems; can demo and troubleshoot basics live.
Are experienced managing remote teams across multiple regions, clusters, or counties.
Demonstrate fluency in English and Kiswahili required; proficiency in relevant local languages is an added advantage based on customer engagement needs within the assigned zone.
Possess a bachelor's degree; certifications in training, facilitation, or instructional design are a strong plus.

About the role:
We are seeking a hands-on Regional Mentor to build and deliver product, process, sales, and technical training for our field agents and the Area Business Managers selling Solar Home Systems and Inverters across Sun King Markets. The role holder will be the bridge between HQ product strategy and frontline sales execution by ensuring every Energy Officer can demonstrate, pitch, install, do basic troubleshooting, and close effectively. The Regional Mentor owns agent capability development, content delivery, portfolio-quality coaching, and the feedback flow from the field to HQ, with measurable accountability for the Collection Score contribution and the weighted-unit productivity of agents in their zone.
What you would be expected to do:
Agent Training & Capability Development
Steer the new Agent onboarding post Area Business Manager scout session and recruitment.
Design and facilitate onboarding and refresher training programs for field Agents.
Develop practical learning modules focused on Direct Sales, EasyBuy product Knowledge, Objection Handling, Collections Management, Customer Service, and Portfolio Health.
Guide "train-the-trainer" programs for the Area Mentors and Cluster Leaders. Conduct field-based coaching and side-by-side mentorship sessions for the Agents at the cluster level to model best practices, pitches, and live demos as per Agent skill level.
Content Development
Train and coach agents on behaviors that drive early repayment and improve collection scores: customer screening, expectation setting, credible relationship-building, and follow-up payment.
Localize training materials to zone-relevant languages, customer profiles, and market landscape.
Update slide decks, playbooks, quick-reference guides, and demo scripts as per changes/New products, processes, and pricing.
Create short video tutorials and WhatsApp-ready microlearning content for remote teams and just-in-time learning for the field team
Sales Performance Enablement
Mentor Agents to achieve monthly sales productivity targets
Develop performance improvement plans for underperforming agents
Facilitate roleplays, field simulations, and practical demonstrations.
Work with regional teams to improve conversion rates and activation quality.
Portfolio Management & Collections Excellence
Train Agents on portfolio risk management and repayment behavior monitoring
Build capacity around collections discipline, delinquency reduction, customer follow-up, and recovery processes.
Coach Agents on balancing strong sales growth with healthy portfolio quality.
Monitor repayment trends and identify learning gaps affecting collections performance.
Build agents' comprehension of the repossession process and customer recovery protocols, with emphasis on dignity and community reputation
Customer Service & Retention
Equip Agents with strong engagement and complaint-resolution skills. Train teams on creating a positive customer experience throughout the Easy Buy lifecycle.
Contribute to customer retention initiatives through service quality improvement alongside the After-Sales Teams.
Advocate for ethical selling and responsible customer onboarding practices.
Learning evaluation & Reporting
Track training effectiveness using KPIs and operational performance metrics. Interpret and act on reports covering Sales Productivity, Repayment Performance, Customer Retention, and Agent Attrition Trends.
Prepare training impact reports for the Regional Sales teams. Recommend interventions based on field performance insights.
You might be a strong candidate if you:
Possess either 2+ years in Learning & Development, Sales Training, or Field Coaching in solar, electronics, telecoms, or FMCG;
Have 3+ years selling these products with a track record of mentoring or training peers. Strong candidates often have a blend of both.
Possess strong technical grasp of Solar Home Systems, inverters, batteries, and basic electrical concepts
Demonstrate proven sales background, you've carried a target, and can teach others how to sell
Have experience training non-technical audiences: agents, dealers, micro-entrepreneurs.
Are willing to travel 80%+ across the region for hands-on and face-to-face training sessions
Are fluent in English + [relevant local languages, e.g. Kiswahili, Meru, Somali]
Demonstrate comprehension of graphic design, video editing, or the ability to use advanced content authoring tools are advantages.
Are able to deliver engaging training using adult learning methods. Manages group dynamics, energy, and effective knowledge transfer.
Can design practical, field-based learning content. Uses tools such as Articulate, Captivate, H5P, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Canva. Builds sales, product knowledge, and portfolio management capability.
Are able to provide performance coaching to improve outcomes. Uses sales and field data to guide training focus. Applies practical tools like WhatsApp Business, LMS platforms, and operational apps.
