Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Conduct oral examinations and assess patients` dental conditions.
Diagnose and manage common oral and dental diseases.
Perform preventive and curative procedures.
Provide oral health education and counselling to patients and communities.
Participate in community outreach and dental awareness programs.
Ensure Infection prevention and control standards are maintained in the dental unit.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation as required
Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health and KMPDC regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognized institution.
Valid practicing license and registration with Kenya Medical.
At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in a busy dental set up is preferred.
Basic life Support (BLS) certification is an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is an added advantage.
