is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru City offering both inpatient and outpatient services. We are seeking to recruit a Claims Officer to join our Finance Department. 

This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate preparation, submission, and follow-up of medical claims. The position supports the hospital’s revenue cycle by minimising claim rejections, reconciling payments, and maintaining proper documentation in compliance with payer and hospital policies. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications  

Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field.  Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role within a medium to large organization. 

  Skills Required  

Strong understanding of medical claims procedures, billing, and coding Proficiency in claims management and hospital information systems Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation Analytical skills with the ability to resolve claim discrepancies Strong communication and coordination skills
