Our company seeks to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The candidate will play a key role in the finance department, including record-keeping, management and financial reporting. Job Description: Preparing bank and cash payment vouchers and ensure that all payments are properly and accurately supported. Ensuring all transactions are correctly posted in QuickBooks and related accounting software. Ensuring that petty cash is accounted for and recorded in real time and on daily basis. Filing and maintaining proper accounting records and documentations. Assisting with payroll processing and filing statutory returns. Assisting to prepare finance reports and budgets. Assisting in purchasing office stationery. Consolidating reports. Updating personnel files. Maintaining service contracts. Attending to office routine work. Giving prompt response to enquiries/queries. Ensuring staff time sheets are signed and filed. Any other duties as may be requested from time to time. Other requirements and Skills: Excellent written and oral communications skills. Can work under pressure and tight deadlines with minimum supervision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information. Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
