Prepare monthly,quarterly and annual financial closing processes, including balance sheets,profit/loss statements. Reconcile accounts payable & receivable, manage petty cash and ensure timely bank payments. Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations. Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and monitor expenditure against budgets. Audit financial transactions, maintain updated financial records and support internal/external audit processes. Maintain database backups,internal controls and reinforce confidentiality of financial data. Maintain ledgers, journals, and reconciliations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments. Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections. Maintain up-to-date records of debtors and creditors. Resolve billing and payment discrepancies. Provide management with reports on expenses, revenues, and variances. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies. Monitor financial risks and recommend corrective measures. Recommend improvements in financial systems and processes. Liaise with customers on invoicing and payment issues. Coordinate with suppliers on billing and reconciliation.
