KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring timely and quality vehicle maintenance and repairs
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for the company fleet
Supervise mechanics and workshop staff, allocating tasks and monitoring performance
Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment; manage inventory and procurement needs
Diagnose recurring mechanical issues and implement corrective measures
Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and repair reports
Enforce workshop safety standards and regulatory compliance
Control workshop costs and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and expenses.
Liaise with the operations team to minimize vehicle downtime and support fleet availability
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Diploma in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Applicants must be 40 years and above
Proven experience managing a vehicle workshop or fleet maintenance operation
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Sound knowledge of heavy commercial vehicle systems (engine, transmission, hydraulics, electrical)
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
