Key Responsibilities
Generate new business through field sales, prospecting and customer visits.
Sell brake linings, brake pads, brake shoes, discs, drums, lining rolls, bearings and riveting services.
Develop relationships with spare-parts dealers, garages, mechanics, distributors, fleet owners, transport companies and institutional clients.
Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and convert leads into orders.
Manage existing customer accounts and encourage repeat purchases.
Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances.
Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback.
Achieve assigned monthly sales and collection targets.
Submit regular sales, customer visit and pipeline reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least two years' experience in field sales or business development.
Experience selling automotive spare parts, bearings, tyres, lubricants, machinery or other technical products is highly desirable.
Good understanding of the automotive spare-parts market.
Strong negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively within an assigned territory.
A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
