Nexus Staffing Solutions is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive on behalf of our client, a growing business specialising in built-in home appliances, including built-in cookers and hobs, ovens, kitchen hoods/chimneys and built-in refrigerators.
We are looking for a commercially minded salesperson who can identify opportunities, build relationships and convert projects into sales.
This is a business development and project sales role, not a conventional showroom or walk-in sales position.
The successful candidate will be expected to actively identify upcoming construction and property projects and develop relationships with the people responsible for specifying, purchasing and installing appliances.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the real estate, construction and interior solutions markets.
Research upcoming residential, commercial and institutional projects where built-in appliances may be required.
Build relationships with property developers, contractors, architects, interior designers, kitchen designers and procurement teams.
Generate leads through direct prospecting, networking, referrals, project research and industry contacts.
Arrange client meetings, presentations and site visits.
Present product specifications, catalogues, quotations and proposals to prospective clients.
Prepare quotations and follow up consistently to secure orders, LPOs and project commitments.
Negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
Maintain an active project pipeline from lead generation through to conversion.
Develop existing accounts while continuously opening new business opportunities.
Monitor competitor activity, market pricing and emerging project opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reports.
Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2 years of proven sales/business development experience.
Demonstrable experience generating and developing new business.
Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills.
Ability to identify and pursue opportunities independently.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Good relationship-management and follow-up skills.
Ability to conduct client visits and site visits.
Comfortable preparing quotations, proposals and sales reports.
Commercially driven, self-motivated and target-oriented.
A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
