Xaji Gate Services Ltd is seeking a confident, proactive and results-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to support the introduction and sale of products in the Kenyan market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, retailers, wholesalers and distributors, introducing products to the market, generating sales leads and building strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and approach potential customers, retailers, wholesalers and distributors.
Introduce and promote company products to prospective customers.
Carry out market research to understand customer demand, pricing and competitors.
Generate new sales leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, online platforms and face-to-face visits.
Visit potential customers and businesses within Nairobi and other areas when required.
Follow up sales leads and potential customers consistently.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
Identify suitable shops, supermarkets and other outlets where products can be sold.
Support product launches, promotions and marketing activities.
Collect feedback from customers and report market information to management.
Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, leads, orders and sales activity.
Prepare regular sales and market progress reports.
Work towards agreed sales and business development targets.
Identify new opportunities for the company to expand its product range and customer base.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, field sales or business development.
Strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
Confident approaching businesses and speaking with new customers.
Good written and spoken English.
Good knowledge of the Nairobi and Kenyan market.
Able to use Microsoft Office, email, WhatsApp and other digital communication tools.
Strong research and follow-up skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Organised, reliable and results-focused.
Previous experience selling products to retailers, wholesalers, supermarkets or distributors would be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who can actively go into the market, find customers, create opportunities and help develop the company's product sales in Kenya.
