Job Purpose
Main Responsibilities
Inspecting Materials & Products: Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials and inprocess production to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory guidelines;
Testing: Perform functional/processing suitability testing on products and ingredients; and
Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously record inspection results and non-conformances, creating reports that support quality audits, traceability, and corrective actions
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology or Microbiology with at least one-year experience in quality control strongly preferred, OR
A diploma in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology with at least 2 years' experience in quality control strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills;
Ability to thrive working collaboratively with senior colleagues, solve problems independently and work in a fast-paced environment.
Possess a strong work ethic, ability to work in teams and implement and test solutions.
Knowledge of the HACCP approach or other management systems relevant to a food industry.
If you have worked in the Dairy industry in the same similar role will be an added advantage.
