Lecturer[2] - Physiotherapist - AN- Scale -KMTC 8 - 15 Posts at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)

Duties at this level will include: Teaching and evaluating students; Preparing schemes of work, lesson notes and lesson plans; Assessing students in clinical areas; Guiding and counselling students on matters related to their academics; Supporting the design and development of instruments to assess health training needs; Developing guidelines for the evaluation of health teaching materials; Evaluating training programmes to determine their effectiveness and relevance; Implementing competence-based curriculum; Planning and organising continuing education programmes for health workers; and Conducting research in the area of specialisation and supervising students on research projects. 

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy; 

 OR

• KMTC Higher Diploma in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Neuro Rehabilitation or Pelvic Rehabilitation and have practised in the relevant field for a minimum period of six (6) years; 

• Been registered with Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK); 

• Valid practicing licence; and

 Proficiency in Computer Applications.
