Lecturer[2] - Medical Engineering - AN- Scale -KMTC 8 - 12 Posts at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)
Duties at this level will include: Teaching and evaluating students; Preparing schemes of work, lesson notes and lesson plans; Assessing students in clinical areas; Guiding and counselling students on matters related to their academics; Supporting the design and development of instruments to assess health training needs; Developing guidelines for the evaluation of health teaching materials; Evaluating training programmes to determine their effectiveness and relevance; Implementing competence-based curriculum; Planning and organising continuing education programmes for health workers; and Conducting research in the area of specialisation and supervising students on research projects.
For appointment to this level, a candidate must have:Β
- A Bachelor's degree in Medical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Medical Engineering / Bachelor of Industrial Technology (Medical Engineering)
OR
-
KMTC Higher Diploma in Medical Engineering (Diagnostic Equipment/Dialysis Equipment /Therapeutic Equipment) and practiced in their relevant field for a minimum of six (6) years

Been registered with Association of Medical Engineering of Kenya (AMEK);

Valid practicing license; and

Proficiency in computer application
