The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) plays a critical role in improving partner and customer capability, confidence and product adoption through exceptional learning experiences.
Working as part of the Training & Support team, you will lead and drive the end to end learning experience from learner research and discovery through to design evaluation and continuous improvement ensuring learning evolves alongside our software and our user needs. You'll translate subject matter expert (SME) authored content into engaging, learner-centred experiences that make technical concepts simple, accessible and easy to apply.
Working closely with the Head of Partner and Customer Enablement, Partner and Customer Enablement Leads, Product teams, Clinical Leads, Partnership teams and our Learning Platform Specialist, you'll design scalable learning solutions that support onboarding, product adoption and ongoing capability development. Success in this role means creating learning experiences that measurably improve learner confidence, customer adoption and organisation outcomes, while establishing high standards for learning quality, governance and continuous improvement across our learning ecosystem.
Responsibilities and Attributes
The key responsibilities of the role are:
Conduct learner research, needs analysis and skills gap analysis to inform learning design decisions, aligning research methods, frameworks and best practices with product design colleagues.
Define measurable learning outcomes and use learner analytics, evaluation frameworks and customer feedback to continuously improve learning effectiveness and product adoption.
Audit learning content and ecosystems and develop standards, templates, frameworks and governance processes that improve information architecture, content quality, consistency, discoverability and scalability.
Partner with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate content discovery, learning design workshops and content reviews; coach Partner and Customer Enablement Leads on learner-centred design principles and effective knowledge transfer; and work closely with product design and our Instructional Designer through build, testing and iteration to shape learning experiences across the product, including integrating learning and product design principles across UX, microcopy and in app content.
The key attributes we have identified for the role are:
Strong grounding in adult learning theory and learning experience design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, Kolb Experiential Learning), with experience designing assessments, knowledge checks and certification programmes, and applying learner research, analytics and evaluation frameworks to measurable outcomes.
Experience collaborating with Product Design or UX teams in a software organisation — comfortable reading designs and prototypes (e.g. Figma, Claude Design) and working within an established design system.
Excellent written communication, facilitation, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with proven collaboration in multidisciplinary teams, a learner-first mindset and a proactive, self-motivated commitment to continuous improvement.
Desirable attributes for the role are:
Experience using AI-assisted learning design and content development tools
Experience creating multimedia learning using authoring tools
Experience supporting organisational change management initiatives.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
BA or MA in Education, Applied Linguistics or a related discipline.
Experience with SafetyCulture LMS or similar learning platforms
