Requirements & Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines; Computer Science/ Information Communication Technology, Information systems, business information technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Demonstrated professional competence
Good oral and written communication skills
A member of an industry related professional body
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language ( e.g. Java, C#, Python)
Experience with front-end technologies (e.g HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular)
Solid understanding of relational database (e.g MySQL, Postgres SQL, SQL Server)
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology like Agile or Scrum
Experience with web services and API development (REST, SOAP) is highly desirable
