Finance Lead at Qhala
Key responsibilities include:

Managing daily accounting, accounts payable/receivable and financial records.

Reviewing bank, mobile money and account reconciliations.

Coordinating payments and monitoring cash requirements.

Ensuring timely statutory filings and tax compliance.
-
Preparing routine monthly financial reports and management schedules.
-
Supervising and supporting junior finance team members.
-
Maintaining audit-ready documentation and coordinating audit requirements.
-
Improving finance processes, systems and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.

CPA qualification required; CPA(K) preferred.
-
3β5 years' relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in a growing SME or multi-project environment.

Strong experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR and statutory compliance.

Experience supervising junior finance staff or interns.
-
Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems and Excel/Google Sheets.
-
Good understanding of Kenyan tax and statutory requirements.
-
Strong attention to detail, financial discipline and ability to work independently.
