Duties and Responsibilities
Collecting waste and debris removed from drains;
Loading waste and debris onto designated County/contracted waste trucks;
Sweeping and cleaning immediate work areas;
Preventing extracted waste from returning to drainage systems; and
Supporting transportation of waste to approved disposal, recovery or temporary handling facilities.
Waste Collection and evacuation teams will operate under the technical supervision of the
Department of Environment and waste Management.
Requirements for Appointment
Be 18 years of age or above.
Possess a valid National Identity Card.
Possess an Artisan Certificate or other relevant qualification or Possess KCSE Certificate and/or KCPE Certificate.
Be physically and mentally able to undertake the assigned duties, including outdoor and physically demanding work.
Be willing to work in any designated location within Mombasa County.
Be available for the duration of the temporary engagement and comply with theinstructions of designated supervisors.
