POSITION SUMMARY:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely operate ambulances and conduct daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) within EMT scope. Assess, monitor and safely transport patients; assist advanced-care providers where applicable.
Complete accurate Patient Care Reports and maintain patient confidentiality.
Inspect, clean, disinfect and replenish ambulance equipment and medical supplies.
Maintain compliance, professional conduct, teamwork and continuing professional development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Pre-Hospital Emergency Care from a recognized institution.
Valid First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Life Support is an added advantage.
Valid professional registration/licence where applicable.
At least two (2) years' experience as an Ambulance Operator in emergency medical services or a related healthcare role.
Valid Kenyan Driving Licence Class C1, clean driving record and Certificate of Good Conduct.
