Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
Be a citizen of Kenya;
Have served in the grade of Assistant Director, Human Resource Management for a minimum period of three (3) years;
Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
OR
Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: - Economics, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce Plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management/Development or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
Masters degree in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
Be in possession of Leadership Course lasting not less than six (6) weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
Been registered by the Institute of Human Resource Management (IRM), (vii) A valid practicing license;
