TrainingCred Institute is seeking experienced Consultant Trainers to design and deliver practical, engaging professional development programmes across our training specialisations. Key Responsibilities
Understand client needs. Participate in briefing and discovery discussions to establish participant backgrounds, workplace challenges, learning objectives and expected outcomes before delivery.
Develop and customise training materials. Prepare course outlines, session plans, presentations, participant resources, assessments and practical exercises suited to the agreed programme and participant level.
Facilitate engaging learning. Deliver structured classroom, virtual and client-site sessions using relevant case studies, demonstrations, simulations, group discussions and practical activities.
Connect learning to workplace application. Guide participants in using relevant tools, analysing realistic scenarios and developing practical outputs or action plans they can apply in their roles.
Assess learning and address gaps. Use appropriate exercises, assessments and feedback before, during and after training to check understanding and evaluate achievement of learning objectives.
Maintain accurate and current content. Update training materials to reflect developments in your field, relevant professional standards, current tools and industry practice.
Coordinate delivery professionally. Submit materials within agreed timelines, confirm technical and logistical requirements, attend all agreed sessions and communicate promptly about issues affecting delivery.
Report outcomes and improve programmes. Review participant feedback, submit agreed training reports and recommend improvements to content, facilitation and future learning support.
Provide agreed follow-up support. Respond to participant questions and clarify the application of course concepts within the scope and timeframe agreed for each assignment.
Uphold professional standards. Respect client confidentiality, use appropriately sourced training materials and maintain a professional, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Professional Experience
A Master's degree in a discipline relevant to your proposed training specialisation.
A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, supported by demonstrated experience delivering training, facilitating workshops or presenting specialist content to professional audiences.
Relevant professional certifications or recognised trainer qualifications are an added advantage.
Strong subject expertise and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and connect them to workplace practice.
Excellent facilitation, presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to adapt content, pace and activities to different participant backgrounds and experience levels.
Proficiency in the software, tools or professional frameworks relevant to your specialisation, together with the digital skills needed for effective virtual facilitation.
A dependable approach to preparation, agreed deadlines, participant engagement and collaboration with the training delivery team.
