Clinical Officer[1] - AN- Scale -KMTC 9 - 5 Posts at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)
Duties at this level will include: Seeing and examining patients; Diagnosing and treating ailments; Providing clinical outreach and school health services; Sensitising patient and clients on preventive and promotive health; Giving support and health education to the community and patients; Implementing health care activities in liaison with other health workers; Carrying out surgical procedures as per training and skills; Collecting and compiling clinical data; and assessing, preparing and presenting medical leave reports, and referring patients to appropriate health care facilities.
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Clinical Medicine & Surgery, Clinical Medicine or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. Β

Been registered with the Clinical Officers Council;Β

Valid practicing licence from the Clinical Officers Council; and Β

Proficiency in computer applications.Β
