Job Description

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:

• Cumulative service period of nine (9) years' relevant work experience of which three (3) should have been at the grade of Chief Laboratory Technologist II or in a comparable position;

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of specialisation from a recognised and accredited institution;

• Master's degree in the relevant area of specialisation from a recognised and accredited institution;

• Registered with a relevant professional body (where applicable);

• Valid practising licence from the relevant professional body (where applicable); and

• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance, leadership and results.
