Key Responsibilities: Bakery Operations and Production: Lead daily bakery operations to ensure efficiency, quality and consistency. Plan production schedules to meet demand while reducing waste. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. Product Development and Commercial Focus: Innovate and expand the bakery range, balancing creativity, quality and cost. Cost recipes and manage margins without compromising product excellence. Work closely with procurement and packaging teams to source the best ingredients and package products. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing bakery team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation. Market and Business Contribution: Track industry trends and customer preferences to keep Greenspoon at the forefront of baking innovation. Contribute to overall bakery strategy with a focus on quality, efficiency and profitability. Skills and Qualifications: Experience managing a commercial bakery or leading bakery operations. Strong knowledge of artisan and commercial baking techniques (sourdough, croissants, bagels, baguettes, etc). Experience in costing, margin management and commercial operations. Hands-on leadership and team management skills. Commitment to the highest food safety and quality standards. Passion for sustainability and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
