Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for the collection and analysis of the performance and health of payment systems in Kenya.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Technical and Operational Responsibilities
Review and design NPS returns templates.
Ensure timely submission of NPS returns.
Implement an integrated information system for electronic submission of NPS returns.
Ensure that data received is processed and required standard reports generated.
Design and produce periodic standard analytical reports.
Perform analysis and verification of Payment data.
Update the statistics on the CBK website.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
Develop and implement a payment system database, a data collection system, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to enhance the payment systems information.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct data errors.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Draft research papers and basic reports on the analysis of the data collected.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
